Every component including the lid has been developed to allow the V8 twin turbos to pull in air with less drag resulting in industry leading performance gains. The stock airbox lid itself creates a restriction on the size of the flow collector which feeds the inlets from the filters. So we increased the height of the central section of the lid to allow for a larger flow collector and larger cone filters to be used. This removes the inherent restriction and sets our intake apart from the rest of the field who by utilising the stock lid must also use a restricted collector and filtration media. The turbo inlets are up to 43% larger in cross sectional area than stock and are designed with an advanced dimpled inner surface to reduce frictional losses between the flow and the wall boundary. By allowing a “cushion” of air at the wall surface, airflow is able to move through the inlets at higher flow rates with reduced pressure loss. This allows the turbos to draw air with less resistance and therefore reduce the wastegate duty cycle resulting in higher overall performance. *Gains measured can vary with different ECU tunes.

The Audi C8 RS6 intake system is the culmination of extensive development, testing and prototyping. Our aim was to address 2 main criteria: 1) Increased flow rate. 2) Smooth Airflow. The first objective was met by utilising all of the limited space available in the RS6 engine bay which was heavily restricted by the underside of the hood. Our solution was to completely redesign the entire airbox which maximised volume, increased flow entry openings and created a more favourable filter angle to the turbos. Furthermore we dramatically increased the size of the turbo inlets by as much as 85% when measuring the cross sectional area at the openings. The second objective was met by designing an organically shaped system with a custom rounded panel filter to ensure the airflow path contained no sharp corners and therefore allowed for the flow to remain laminar. With smooth transitions from the filter to the turbo inlets, our intake minimises the formation of turbulence and therefore the turbos are able to operate more efficiently. We partnered with BMC for a bespoke filter element to ensure that the filtration area is as large as possible whilst keeping airflow clean. With all objectives met, our C8 RS6 intake system delivers on all fronts and allows for the turbos to generate boost more efficiently. This results in an improved throttle response and significant power gains, independently tested which increase with higher states of tune. The performance gains measured are a result of the complete system we have developed from the airbox base to the lid and the inlets. *Gains measured can vary with different ECU tunes.

It was developed to achieve two objectives – 1) De-restrict the turbo inlet paths. 2) Maintain low inlet temperatures. The first objective was met by providing each turbo with a separate filter and Venturi stack in order to reduce drag and allow the turbos to work more efficiently. The second objective was met by enclosing the filters inside a carbon airbox and feeding them with an additional scoop added behind the front grill. The C7 RS6/RS7 engine bay has multiple heat sources from different directions so a simple configuration of open filters and shields would result in higher IAT values. Our carbon airbox enclosure has been designed to maximise the use of the available volume and block all sources of heat. The resulting performance gains and aesthetics are industry leading for the C7 RS6/RS7. The Eventuri Difference The C7 RS6/RS7 Eventuri system uses 2 Venturi stacks mounted to the filters which smoothly transition to the turbo tubes. These provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filters to the turbos.
