      The latest external wastegates from Garrett. From the engineers who also designed the G-Series and GTX Gen II turbochargers.

      Valve body is cast from high temperature stainless steel and designed for exhaust temperatures up to 1050°C.
      CFD optimized for maximum flow and thermal efficiency.
      Our Nomex-reinforced elastomer diaphragm provides exceptional durability and fatigue resistance.
      GVW wastegates are set at 1 bar (14.5 PSI) base pressure and can be configured from 0.2 bar (2.9 PSI) to 1.7 bar (24.7 PSI) (allowing for a 1:1 back pressure).

      Actuator design allows for multiple air/fluid port orientations.

      TIAL F41 external wastegate suitable for turbo engines up to about 600hp. 

      The F41 Tial Wastegate has a valve with a 41mm diameter. 

      Both the housing and the valve are made of 347SS stainless steel to withstand the highest temperatures. 

      The inner diaphragm is made of temperature resistant Nomex and is additionally reinforced. 

      Tial uses a very high quality stainless steel spring to ensure a constant spring rate over the entire temperature range. 

      For the valve seat and valve guide, TIAL uses Nitronic 60 stainless steel.

      The Turbosmart Kompact Shortie VR08 fits your 2016 Ford Focus RS. This easy to install replacement for the prone OEM plastic blow off valve offers improved turbo response. 

      The dual port valve is a 50-50 recirculation/atmospheric valve for the classic vent-atmospheric sound at high charge pressure and quiet operation at low charge pressure. 

      The Kompact Shortie Blow-Off Valve for the Focus RS was designed with the high charge pressure of the Focus in mind for improved performance and durability. Plastic OEM blow-off valves like those in the RS have a history of failure - They leak and become porous and brittle over time, eventually breaking and causing serious problems. With a charge pressure of around 23 PSI in stock form, the Focus is already pushing the limits of the standard plastic blow off valve - and there's not much room to increase the charge pressure before the standard valve gives up. 

      The Kompact Shortie from Turbosmart is made of billet aluminum, not plastic. Its brass piston is strong and lightweight, and each BOV is individually matched with the correct piston to ensure the best fit, which in turn means no O-ring is needed to seal the housing from the piston. This gives the shortie unmatched durability and responsiveness, and requires less maintenance than aftermarket BOVs that use o-rings to seal the piston. 

      The Kompact Shortie for the Focus RS can be used in Dual Port and Plumb Back versions. The Plumb Back is a fully recirculating blow off valve that offers similar volume to the standard valve, so you can have all the performance of a Turbosmart blow off valve while flying under the radar. The dual port valve provides split operation between recirculation and venting to the environment, resulting in quiet operation at low charge pressure and mind blowing venting noise at high charge pressure - a great addition to the rally character of the Focus. The Kompact Shortie for the Focus RS features enlarged orifices compared to previous shorties, giving the RS the flow it needs. 

      These direct replacement blow off valves provide an easy performance upgrade without the need for custom fabrication or special tools. It's another addition to Turbosmart's ever-growing lineup of parts for Ford's newest EcoBoost vehicle lineup.
