This kit allows you to drive the K04-064 turbocharger from the 2.0L TFSI on your 1.8T engine.
Through the TFSI integral charger you have the advantage that the exhaust manifold and turbocharger are one component. As a result, leakage problems or loose screw connections are a thing of the past.
The slide bearing of the 064 Turbo is significantly more wear-free than the ball bearing of Garret or EFR loaders.
Due to the downmount manifold no heat is reflected on the turbo as it hangs under the manifold.
Internal Wastgates & ready-mounted pressure cans save a lot of money and nerves, since no own bracket must be built, as is often the case with topmount manifolds with Garrett and EFR.
The original engine compartment look is retained. Since the intake pipe even fits under the engine cover, nothing indicates a conversion.

This gasket is located directly at the outlet of the turbocharger and should always be replaced at Downpipe - or turbocharger change.

The oil line consists of a synthetic rubber layer, a steel layer and an outer nylon protective layer. This combination makes the hoses much more flexible than pure steel flex hoses. The Turboblanket loses its flexibility during the first heat cycles and the material hardens. After attaching it should therefore not be removed.
