Original BorgWarner EFR core assembly/supercore
The body assembly (CHRA) is the middle section of a turbocharger with the two blades (fresh air wheel and exhaust wheel), which also contains the bearings. If turbochargers with ball bearings suffer bearing damage, it is only possible to replace the complete body assembly. The core assembly with compressor housing is called Supercore. This is particularly useful if the desired configuration of the turbocharger with the desired exhaust housing is not available for purchase directly, or if you want to use an exhaust housing from a third-party manufacturer. In addition to the fuselage assembly, the mounting kit for the exhaust housing and the exhaust housing itself is always required. If the exhaust housing has a wastegate flap, you will also need a pressure box and a suitable mounting plate.
