Gear wheel main bolt from the renowned U.S. manufacturer ARP for reinforcement of the timing belt drive in 1.8T or 2.0L TFSI engines.
With this bolt, you circumvent the greatest weakness of Audi and VW engines: The connection of the timing belt drive to crankshaft! The original parts allow a high degree of tolerance, so the guide groove on the crankshaft quickly shears off. Especially in the case of tuned engines, this can happen quickly due to the enormous output.
Our bolt has a higher clamping force and meets the aviation standard. It is made of high-strength steel and can even be reused. Perfect for top tuning demands!

This kit includes all of the bolts and washers needed to replace the OEM bolts that secure the cam tray to the cylinder head. Digital High End Dial Indicator from ARP for measuring the extension of expansion screws.
When fitting connecting rod bolts, the tightening torque is only of secondary importance. Much more important is the extension of the screw.
This stretch can be measured accurately with the ARP dial gauge.
ARP has taken accuracy to the next level with the introduction of a digital stretch gauge that measures to the ten-thousandth (0.0001-inch).
Accurate readings are made by opposing ball and pin probes centered on the bolt. A uniquely designed aluminum handle facilitates operation.

Friction Disc (diamond disc) between bolt and crank damper for all 1.8T and 2.0L TFSI VW / Audi engines.
Between crankshaft and crank damper there are very high micro-movements. Even when using ARP bolts, the connection is not 100% free of play. A fatal defect on the crank damper can happen, especially on tuned engine with increased torque!
The friction disc increases the friction by up to 300% and thus ensures a better bolt connection.
Since the disc is very thin (0.1mm), there are no problems with the belt drive.
A must have for engines with increased power!Extra long bolts with washers for mounting a KKK turbocharger with our upgrade exhaust manifold.
Now also made of extremely heat-resistant INCONEL® material!
INCONEL® is a special alloy which is e.g. is also used in Formula 1 or for the construction of reactor housings.Since the upgrade manifold is higher than the standard, these extra long screws must be used.
Mount screws on the thread and under the head with VW hot screw paste.
Tightening torque 55Nm.
After the first installation, let the engine warm up and retighten the screws with a cooled manifold with 55Nm!
Always use new gasket between turbo and manifold.

Attention: HIGH BOOST Version for maximum boost and pressure. The thread in the block has to be cut from 10mm to 11mm. Then these studs are 11mm in diameter and can withstand higher forces.

Torque in 3 stages with sufficient ARP paste. Last stage 110 Nm.
Internal multi-tooth socket for mounting ARP nuts and bolts.
